City of Searcy Receives $463,505 State Grant
City leaders were honored to join Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders as she announced $4.92 million in funding to support local recreation projects across Arkansas.
The City of Searcy was awarded $463,505 to support the phased construction of soft-surface, multi-purpose trails that will connect key destinations throughout our community — including the new Community Center, the McKnight recreation parcel, Berryhill Park’s adjoining greenspace, and areas surrounding the Community Center campus.
This investment will help expand outdoor recreation opportunities and improve connectivity across Searcy, continuing our commitment to enhancing quality of life for residents.
We’re grateful for this support and excited to see these projects come to life.
